Update! Yeah, I know it's been a while.

I've been checking things off my list without evening knowing it. Here's what I've got done...

21. Brent and I went snowshoeing today! It was a blast!! I think I found my winter sport!

6. Start a health savings plan - well, I got a job with health insurance so this negates my need for a health savings plan. My insurance is cheap and awesome!! Double score!

39. Read book #13 - Bookends. Eh book. Blah ending.

58. Start a b/w family photo wall - photo wall is finished!! It was part of Brent's bday present - have some of his family on the wall too!

90. Paint the hall wall - had to do this before I did the b/w family photo wall. Went from crummy tan to a light mintyish green. I LOVE IT! It's brighter!

73. Start an IRA - My new job also has great retirement stuff! And one is a Roth IRA! Score!

64. Start Brinkley's scrapbook - I've got about four pages done. With the girl scrapbook weekends happening consistently, I should easily be able to add to it!

Book #12

I finished Jane Eyre! I really enjoyed it! I thought it was much more enjoyable than other "classics" that I've read. I'm already working on #13. I have some catching up to do!

Pluggin' along.

Bake something #7 - Monkey Brains - excellent!!!

Book #11 - The Collectors by David Baldacci - it was okay. I'm thinking that I'm over David Baldacci. The past few books of his that I've read just don't have the same pop as some of the earlier books. They seem much more cookie cutter like. I want substance! So now I'm working on Jane Eyre.

Cook something No. 7, 8, 9

I made a cherry glazed pork tenderloin the other night with a cherry sauce. It turned out great and it was devoured - no leftovers!

My own idea - cooked chicken in the crockpot all day and then mixed in taco seasoning and shredded the meat for tacos/burritos. It turned out pretty good. It shredded really fine so that was a little unexpected. But it was still very yummy!

I made this yummy jalepeno cheese dip bread bowl last night! So easy and so yummy! I didn't think making a bread bowl was so easy - I'm already trying to come up with recipes of my own to put in bread bowls. The dip recipe was pretty easy too - about 6 ingredients!

Discard the photography and travel magazine piles after keeping needed articles.

In the middle of my major declutter frenzy that I've been in during the last few weeks - I decided to get rid of all of my magazine piles - which include National Geographic, NG Traveler, Outdoor Photographer, and Popular Photography.

All gone!! I love that feeling!
