I'll give it a whirl.

This is where surfing the net out of boredom gets me...The Day Zero Project - where crazy people like myself are convinced to take on the following...

The Mission:

Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as new year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

So...the procrastinator and eternal optimist in me took the bait. Like everyone else, I have a list of things that I'd like to do or should do. There are some things on this list that I really have no explanation for rather than an intrigue or curiosity. I'm not trying to find myself or uncover a hidden talent, I'd just like to say that I've done a lot of things I've meant to do in life. I'm also no fool, I'm aware of the improbability of completing it ALL but hey, even doing most of these could be an adventure.
