A book...and a test.
I read the ARRL Amateur Test study book for the Technician License over the past week and half. It did the trick. I tested 100% today! Whoohoo!

I read another book!
A feature writer for the Denver Post, Douglas Brown made Just Do It an easy read. He and his wife commit to having sex for 100 consecutive days. Of course, it helps that he rights columns about sex and the sex industry for the paper so his writing doesn't seem forced and in situations, like attending a porn expo, he keeps the hilarity and insights rolling with the wit you would expect from such a reporter. It made me want to go on getaways more. New comers to Colorado, he and his wife travelled to more areas of Colorado in their 100 days than I have in the past five years. Anywho...another book off the list.

70. Save $5 a week....
The goal of this was to save money - I've actually done really well with this goal. I set up a separate saving account last October and it worked miracles for me in putting away extra cash. I've surpassed the $705 that I would have saved at $5/week so I'm considering this goal accomplished!! Whoop, whoop. And I'll keep adding to the pot so I'm doing this goal about 5 times over!

Check one, check two
I graduated! Master of Arts in History - go me! And about a month ago I applied for a big girl job and had to write a cover letter. If I do say so myself, it is fabulous! All the people in my field who read it said it was wonderful!
Also, I'm back to running again so hopefully I can start working on the sub 30 minute 5k and the marathon goal.

Pot Roast
I made yummy pot roast for the first time last week! It was excellent and super easy. The crock pot did most of the work. Good flavor and lots of leftovers!

It sure did feel good.
I left my 100% tip the other day. I decided to have lunch at IHOP between classes the other day. The lady was super nice and kept my stocked up on coffee while I studied. The food was delicious too. I may have to go their more often. Anywho, the bill was $8.50 and I left a $9 tip. I realize that's not a whole lot of money, but it is more than a 100% tip. It did feel good too!
